Overview
Map D develops digital tools for building surveyors, helping streamline reusability and environmental assessments for existing buildings. As the sole developer, I designed, built, and deployed a full-featured platform from the ground up, taking it from concept to paying pilot customers in under a year.
- Architected and implemented the entire platform across backend, frontend, and cloud infrastructure.
- Built an AI-powered photo recognition pipeline that translated complex Norwegian building codes and environmental requirements into a digital logic layer, automating compliance checks for surveyors.
- Developed tools for floor plan upload, annotation, and data enrichment to support on-site surveying.
- Automated the generation of standardized environmental reports, improving efficiency and consistency.
